Younan Nowzaradan, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a general and vascular surgeon specializing in areas of surgery including laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass. Dr. Nowzaradan was the first doctor in Houston to obtain the benefits of laparoscopic surgery. He is currently the Medical Director of the Best Care Clinic in Houston, Texas. Dr. Nowzaradan earned his medical degree from the University of Tehran in Iran. He has over 28 years of surgery since completing his surgical residency at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn. Dr. Nowzaradan is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgery.
