Robert Davis, M.D., is a board certified surgeon specializing in gastrointestinal and bariatric surgery. Dr. Davis is an associate clinical professor of surgery at Baylor College of Medicine and deputy chief of the department of surgery at the Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Davis attended the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and later continued his education in Great Britain, New York, Galveston, and Houston. He is an active member of many professional organizations and was the chairman of the bariatric surgery committee at Methodist Hospital.
