Clifton Thomas, M.D., is board certified as an Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon and practices primarily bariatric surgery. He performs both laparoscopic Roux-en-Y and Lap-Band procedures. Dr. Thomas earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and later completed his residency at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Dr. Thomas is an active member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons. He practices in his Nacogdoches office as well as the Obesity Surgery Specialists' office in Houston. Dr. Thomas has performed over 400 bariatric procedures.
