Dr. Ata Ahmad is an experienced laparoscopic surgeon in Houston and has performed many laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Ahmad has worked closely with the busiest and most distinguished Lap-Band(R) surgeons in the country. He has also trained extensively for laparoscopic gastric banding. Dr. Ahmad completed his surgical training at the Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. He currently practices in Houston, Texas, at Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center, Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, Tomnall Regional Medical Center, and Journey Lite of Houston.
